Hello, my name is Elisa!
I was born in the city of Romeo and Juliet, Verona (Italy) in 1973. My name originates from Hebraic and means something like "God is my perfection".
That's funny, since I'm atheist.
Since March 2000 I don't live anymore in my native city. After three years in Campobello di Licata (Agrigento, Sicily), in June 2003 I moved to Ragusa, a little baroque city in Sicily.
At the moment I live in Nicolosi, a village perched on the side of the volcano Etna, near Catania. I have a son, the little Enea, 9 ars old. His name originates from ancient Greek and means "commended" (if I'm not wrong with english translation). Enea is the Trojan hero of Vergil's poem Aeneid.
I was studying biology at university, when I decided that computer science was more interesting for me. So I left the university course and immersed myself fully into the ocean of computers.
Currently I'm working as a free-lance developer. I usually carry out system administration tasks and web-oriented programming.
Here you can read more about my work.
